MARSOL Ltd, provides advisory services to individuals and legal persons wishing to register ships under the Malta Flag. As well bridging the gap with the Maltese Regulator at Transport Malta and other industry stakeholders.
Our Shipping Team assists ship owners with the registration of ships as soon as their keel is laid by drafting and submitting documentation required by Maltese Authorities and providing efficient solutions aimed at maximizing the needs of the ship owner.
We provide the service for Ship and Super-Yacht Registration, Shipping Compliance, Shipping Sale & Purchase, in addition to small ships.
all non – Maltese residents are obliged by law to appoint a resident agent in Malta. There is no need for the client to come personally and follow the process. The client would need to provide an agent with the Power of Attorney that allows same to act on client’s behalf. Thus, the process of the registration itself is not impeded because of the lack of possibility to travel by the client.
WHAT WE OFFER
Officers working on board Malta registered ships and who possess certificates of competence which were not issued by the Maltese maritime centre, are required to hold an endorsement which confirms recognition of such certificates by the Maltese administration.
Over 46 bilateral agreements between the Maltese administration and foreign maritime administrations are in place so that certificates of competence supplied to seafarers are recognised after being deemed to comply with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978 (STCW Convention).
We can apply for endorsement via our registered portal with Transport Malta follow up the application, collect endorsement card, and dispatch to your crew member destination in an all-inclusive service.
From date of application until receiving the Endorsement, we can forward the application receipt within 1-2 working days and it remain valid for 3 month from application date.
